When people ask me what I do for a living my answer is simple – “climbing, mostly”. Climbing is my greatest passion and taken me across the length and breadth of the country, throughout Europe and across the world.

My passion turned to a profession after graduating from Swansea University in 2005, I was top of my class but had no desire to return to the office environment where I had previously been prisoner, so I set up my own business providing freelance outdoors pursuits instruction across South Wales, the UK and beyond.

I enjoy the freelance lifestyle as it allows me to work with a massive spectrum of clients, from rocket scientists to young children and from football stars to troubled teenagers, every week is different and this, along with having the biggest office in Britain is what I love about my work.

It has been with the support of the OPC that I have developed as an instructor, collectively they have shown me how businesses can work together for mutual benefit, in an environmentally sustainable way. The special places I work, the mountains, cliffs and rivers, they are my office, and I like to keep tidy.
