STEFFAN DAVIES I had my first real wilderness experience when I completed the Expedition of my Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Ever since then I’ve been hooked on the outdoors. I love anything linked with the outdoors, but personal favourites are Caving and Climbing. After leaving University I decided to take the plunge and make a career of taking groups of people on exciting adventures. I set up Sbri Cymru Ltd in 2007 with the aim of providing High Quality Activity Provision through the medium of Welsh. The name Sbri Cymru translates to Fun Wales, and that reflects the whole ethos of the company. Becoming a member of the Outdoor Professionals Co-operative has been a fantastic opportunity. It has allowed me to meet extremely motivated and dedicated companies who are willing to make things other than profit a priority. All companies who are members of the Outdoor Professionals Co-operative adhere to guidelines that have been drawn up to ensure that strict safety standards are met, and also to minimise the environmental impact of the activities that we carry out in fragile eco-systems.
